Regular season practices for ALL swimmers run from June 17th - July 25th.
*Wednesday pool practices may be dryland training (in which case, wear workout clothes and sneakers). Our Wednesday, July 2 practice will be in the pool at the following times: Beginners from 10:00-10:45; Intermediates from 10:00-11:00; and Advanced from 10:45-12:00.

Practices:
- Our swim coaches set the practice schedule and design workouts and training sessions to optimize team performance and development
- 3 skill groups (returning swimmers should join the same skill group they were part of last year; skill groups for new swimmers are determined by coaches during the first week of practice); the coaches may assign lanes within groups based on skill level to ensure the best practice experience for each swimmer based on ability
- Coaching on all strokes
- Coaching on starts and turns
- Practices are held rain or shine (unless rain is so heavy that lifeguards cannot see in the water)
- No practice if thunder or lightning is in the area, as determined by MPR
- Practice begins promptly at scheduled start time. Arrive dressed in your practice suit, with your goggles, cap, and water bottle, ready to enter the pool when your group is called.
Practices from July 28 - August 1 are for swimmers competing in States. Practices may end slightly earlier on Thursday and Friday due to pre-States workout.
